Round... Three?

I don't know exactly how many of these long breaks I've taken, but I apologize. Here goes round three (?) of me trying to be a good blogger and updating weekly, or biweekly at the very least. Well, I said I was going to do a blog with nothing but pictures, but I think I have to catch up again before I can do that. So, there will be like three or four blogs with each month's individual pictures. We'll see... Here it goes to October AND November. Ugh. I am so annoyed with myself. The only thing I have to look back on is my Mac calendar.

October 2 - October 9: On Saturday the second, Mel and I went to the football game. We sat with Kasey and her boyfriend Justin because Ian was out of town. The game was a blowout, so we left at the end of half-time because Mel wanted to watch the band play. They did Lady Gaga songs, awesome, right? Monday (4th), I had my World Lit midterm, I wasn't too worried about it. I studied my notes and ended up getting a 100, heck yeah! In bowling class on Tuesday the fifth, I bowled a 115 & 130. On the recap sheet I had the third highest average of a 123, and tied for third scratch series with a 260. Wednesday the sixth was mine and Chris's Fifteen Monthiversary, but he had take his final. Mom ended up coming up and we hung out. Thursday the seventh, I bowled a 113 & 84 because I was rushing to go pick out a Little Sister with Melanee. (We picked an eleven-year-old named Tamara!)Same stuff on the recap sheet but a 122 average instead. No HDFS on Friday the eighth. Then, it was our GNO! I was so excited. I planned it on Facebook with an official event and everything, oh yeah! We went to Olive Garden, Target, then my house to make videos. It was so fun! I got to see my friends who I hadn't seen in a long time. It was a good week!

October 10 - October 16: Didn't have bowling on Tuesday the 12th. Meg, Laura, and I went to a board meeting to meet criteria for our Teacher Education needs. It was boring but easy. Bowled a 114 & 135 on Thursday the 14th. No Math 2, but had a quiz in Math 3. I think I made a 100 on it. Went to the game on Saturday the 16th, we won and kept our undefeated title, oh yeah. It was a tough game, but we finished strong!

October 17 - October 23: On Sunday the 17th, Dad took Mel and me to the fair. It was awesome! We had so much fun and Melanee forced me to ride the "High Energy" ride. I was screaming at Mel the whole time. I was shaking when I get off! The whole thing was fun though. Then I had to leave straight from there to school. I dropped Mel off at the apartment and then met this girl Casey in my World Lit class to work on our presentation due on Wednesday. It was easy. Bowled a 117 & 143 on Tuesday the 19th. Orthodontist appointment on Wednesday the 20th. Fast and boring. They called me when I was almost at the apartment saying I needed to take some pictures, but I said I'd have to come back on Thursday, so that's what I did. Saw Chris, of course! I always enjoy his visits! After going a first time, Mel and I went back to Tamara's to finally meet her! It was fun and kind of awkward, but we really liked her from the start. Thursday the 21st, I bowled a 111 & 98. Had a test in Math 2, made a 100! Ortho at 350. Easy day! HDFS test on Friday the 22nd, made a 96.55! Registered for my classes. Didn't get exactly what I wanted, but ended up being pretty good! Another home game on Saturday the 23rd. It was SO close. I left early so I could go home and see Chris, but we won again :)

October 24 - October 30: On Monday the 25th, Mel and I picked up Tamara for the first time! We carved pumpkins. We were kind of quiet, but it was fun. I did a Joker card, Mel did an owl on a tree limb, and Tamara did a cute little face. Tuesday the 26th I bowled a 122 & 113. Thursday the 28th I bowled a 108 & 110. There was a thing at the bowling alley with my apartment, but no one was going, so I didn't get to go. Friday the 29th, Mom and I stayed the night at my Grammie and Papa's. Yummy dinner of course! Then on Saturday the 30th, we left early enough so I could hang out with Chris's fam while he worked on Halloween. It was me, his Nana, his mom, and sister. It was so much fun! We sat outside and gave out candy. Then his Nana made dinner, so good! I really enjoyed it, and I felt like it made me closer to his family since he is so close to mine.

October 31 - November 6: On Sunday the 31st, Chris and I bowled a No-Tap tournament. I bowled a 109, 111, & 134. I had to bowl on a 121 average. I did okay I guess. Our pair was messed up so we had to switch in the middle of the second game, but I guess it ended up okay. We saw Tamara again on Monday the 1st. We watched Diary of a Wimpy Kid and played Beatles Rock Band. We had lots of fun! Tuesday the 2nd, I bowled a 120 & 109. Wednesday the 3rd, Mel, Zach, and I went to my Grammie and Papa's for dinner. It was delicious, as always! Thursday the 4th, I bowled a 97 & I don't know what else. Saturday the 6th was mine and Chris's Sixteen Monthiversary! It was our homecoming game at school, but I decided to go home and see Chris.

I'll update the rest of November tomorrow, hopefully. Mel made dinner with onions chopped up and my eyes won't stop watering. I'll write later!

Failure at Life.

Wow. I know, I'm a huge disappoint. My last post was August 1st! What the heck, Courtney?! Geeze. I'm so sorry. I'm very disappointed in myself. And a lot of fun things have happened, too. More exciting than all my other posts, for sure. I mean, a lot has happened these past two months. A lot of big things. But, no worries, because I'm here now! I'll try to be as brief as possible, while still being detailed about important things. But we all know my blogs can run a bit long, for that, I apologize. But I'll do my best at summarizing and including pictures of course! I mean, they're worth a thousand words themselves, so hopefully that'll help. Now, let's get started! (I'm going to do this weekly [monthly is cutting it close], instead of daily, so you can relax!)

August 1 - 7: Well, Monday, August 2, I went to the doctor. I don't remember the specifics, but it went well. Tuesday, the third, I had a party at Grammie and Papa's. It was a hit! Lots of people came. It was fun hanging out one last time before school started back, and we all went our separate ways. There was swimming, board games, food, and karaoke. I definitely plan on doing it again hopefully more than once next year. I think everyone enjoyed themselves. On Wednesday, the fourth, Vivi left for school, and Dad and I went to visit my brother for a week. The plane situation was awful, and both of our planes were delayed more than once for mechanical/technical issues. It was kind of scary getting on a plane that was delayed for two hours, but it was by far worth it! Seeing my brother was awesome. I'm sure Dad enjoyed having both his kids together at one time, too. Some other family friends stayed for two nights, and Bubby held poker night two nights in a row. I won $22 the first night and lost a little the second. It was like a $16 gain overall (with Dad's money, which is always the best!).

August 8 - 14: We were still with my brother under Wednesday, the 11th. Then we had to go to the airport. It was sad leaving my brother, but it was lots of fun. FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH Mel and I moved into our apartment! It was a fun and stressful day, with $300+ spent at Wal-Mart. Both our moms stayed over night, and we did some final things Saturday. Then Mel and I had our traditional fiesta. It was fun.

August 15 - 21: Classes started Wednesday the 18th. My teachers seemed cool, only two classes MWF. My HDFS teacher is funny and shares a lot of stories, and my World Lit professor is kind of scary, but he's chill too. I went to the orthodontist too and got my last eight weeks of trays! Woo hoo! My TR classes are bowling, math for elementary education majors 2 & 3. Bowling seems alright. My teacher doesn't really do much, we just bowl. So it's easy. Math 2 teacher is nice and her daughter came to class the first day. She's four and precious! Math 3 teacher bounces around the room like a crazy person. But each day is pretty easy. Math 3 is the most boring though.

August 22 - 28: Sunday the 22nd, Melanee and I went to this orientation thing for this program on campus like a Big Brother/Big Sister thing. I TRIPPED THERE! In fact, I tripped three times that day. At the meeting, I fell down the stairs and grabbed the girl in front of me; she didn't appreciate it. Then, in the parking lot, I slipped on some rocks and the only two people besides Melanee that I knew in the whole apartment complex were outside!! Ugh, it was embarrassing. I like totally fell too! It was awful. I then tripped when trying to put on my PJs, I fell on the floor. So yeah, great day. I bowled a 152 in bowling class the 26th (Thursday). Then on Friday the 27th, Mel's friend Nadine from England stayed the night with us. It was so much fun! We went to dinner at Ian and Chris's upstairs, then we went to our apartment and made videos and goofed off. It was fun. Then on Saturday the 28th, we took her to the airport. Even though I had only just met her, it was sad leaving her. The car ride was fun to and from though.

August 29 - September 4: On September first, Melanee and I went to see PARAMORE!! It was awesome. I drove in like six or seven lane traffic for the first time. In fact, I hit the five o'clock Wednesday and the eight AM on Thursday. Sweet, I know. They were lots of fun to see. On that Saturday, the fourth, I went to my first college football game! I got there early and went tail-gating, then we sat outside the gates for two and a half hours until they opened. Once we got inside, we still had two more hours to wait before the game at six. I bought a $4 water bottle because it was SOOOOOO hot outside! Then, like less than three minutes left in the second quarter, I PASSED OUT. I was with Ian, Chris, and them because I didn't know anyone else. I told Ian I thought I was about to faint, and in the process, I did. I came to and everyone was looking at me. It took me a minute to figure out what happened. I started crying because it hurt and I was embarrassed. Everyone was shoving water in my face, and I was chugging it! I decided to leave because I was too nervous it would happen again. It was awful.

September 5 - 11: There was no class on the sixth, so that was nice. Mom came and visited, Wednesday the 8th. Then on Saturday the 11th, I went to my cousin Cassie's wedding and stayed the night at my Grents' afterwards. It was a very pretty wedding, and I got to see lots of family.

September 12 - 18: On Wednesday the 15th, I had my interview for the Big Sister-ish thing. I was so nervous, and it took me like ten minutes to find it, but I felt good about it. Some of the questions were crazy, but I survived! I had a test in Math 2 on Thursday, and I made a 90! That was nice. That weekend, the 17th-19th, Dad, Chris, and I went to the beach with our bowling league. Our team finished in first place, and I won $5 in a drawing. It was fun. I got to eat at my favorite seafood place, so that was cool! And I actually got a tan! Who knows how long that'll last.

September 19 - 25: We came home from the beach on Sunday. No fun there. I made a 100 on my Math 3 test that Tuesday, the 21st. I also made an A-/B+ on my World Lit paper that Wednesday! How awesome is that!? I compared Beowulf to Batman in The Dark Knight. It was an awesome paper. I was super proud of it. Dad had surgery on the 23rd to get his prostate cancer removed. Everything went well, and he got out of surgery early. He stayed in the hospital over night and came home Friday. I was his nurse all weekend. I made a 92 on my HDFS test that Friday. Overall, it was a great week! [Although I didn't get most of those grades back within like two weeks, so that was stressful!]

September 26 - October 1: Mel and I held a dinner party at our house Monday the 27th. I made home made chili with my mom's recipe. Mel made "vegetarian chili" for herself and whoever else wanted. It was a hit, and everyone seemed to like it. Chris got to come too, so that was nice. Tuesday in bowling I bowled a 152. Dad had a doctor appointment Wednesday the 29th for a check up and to get his catheter removed. All went well, and they said he should be cured! Praise God! I went to our football game with Mel, Saturday the second. We had lots of fun on the car ride home.

Yay! All caught up. What a proud moment :) Okay, I'm signing off now. Haha.
[I'm going to make a post with nothing but pictures. I'm sure you were wondering.]

-peace.

Last Week.

So, even though I had to do one of my catching up ones today, I am still satisfied with having to do two in one day. It's not so bad. Only thing is, since it actually happened last week, my memory is probably a lot better than it normally is. Know what that means? Lots and lots of details. But hey, this is more for me than it is for you, so stop complaining. Here we go. This is the last week of July. July 25 - July 31.

Sunday, July 25: I was at Melanee's house the night before, so once I got up, I left for my house to go take a shower. Then, I met up with her at her church. It was good. Afterwards, I went with her, his sister Kassi, and Aidan to Moe's. It was crowded the entire time, but somehow we were the only ones eating outside. It was so hot, but that didn't stop us from hanging out for well over an hour. It was lots of fun. Afterwards, I just chilled. Chris came over, and we chilled. That's what my notes say anyway. "Chill/Chris/Chill" So I guess that's what happened.

Monday, July 26: I slept until ten again, ah, so nice. I actually did that a lot this week. But hey, you would too if you could, don't deny it. Heck, yesterday [being Saturday the 31st] Dad slept until one. Back to Monday. Once I got up, I took a shower. I then hung out with Chris after he was back in town from his finals. I ate some yummy Sonic, and then I studied! Once I was done filling my head with dreadful history, Chris, Dad, and I watched The Long Kiss Goodnight. It's a two hour movie, and we didn't start it until late. I figured I would sleep through it, but it was actually very interesting and I stayed awake for the whole thing. Also, Jessie was being super weird that day. She had jumped off my bed, which she isn't supposed to do, and she must have hurt herself. It was pretty scary seeing her the way she was. I don't know what was wrong. She never really perked up after that. It was sad.

Look toward the left. See how crazy the sky is over there? Creepy, huh?

Here's Dad falling asleep during the movie. I had to keep on waking him up. He's so funny.

Tuesday, July 27: I had my dumb final. I wasn't nervous. I knew I studied a lot. But I still wasn't looking forward to it. I felt good after I left, and I found out on Wednesday that I made a B in the class. Not an A, but a B is still good. Especially for history. I met Dad at Whataburger. It was alright. Then I went home and chilled with Chris until it was time for our date. We had been planning on going to eat at Olive Garden for a while because I got a new dress/outfit that I wanted to wear out. It wasn't nearly as good as it normally is, which was disappointing. But it wasn't bad. When we got back from eating, we caught up on the TV show Huge. Later we watched Memento with Dad. I fell asleep the first time Chris and I watched it like last year. It was a really great movie, too.

Here's my outfit. I had to be brave to wear the tights, but I like it.

Smile!
That's Chris and me outside Olive Garden. At least we got like six mints (after asking for them, again!)

Wednesday, July 28: I chilled during the day. Caught up on some of my TV shows. Hung out with Chris. Jessie was better, but she jumped off the couch when she got excited. She eventually got better later. Viv got in town! She's staying with me for a week. It's fun. It's like a sleepover every night. We ate some Moe's. The dude talked to us so much. We just nodded our head; we had no idea what he was saying. I caved and got a cookie, but I was disappointed. Then, as I was getting my water, I dropped my tray and my food went everywhere. Luckily, they wrap the burritos and the queso had a top, so I just asked for more chips. They're free anyway, so it was no big. Then we went to the Mac store so Viv could look around. Her computer has been messing up. Once we were back to my house, we washed her car. It was sad seeing her new tag. She's not technically from here anyways though. We hung out and talked for a while. We sang some karaoke, that was fun. She showed me a new way to do my eyeshadow, which I just started wearing. Now I really do need to get some good make up. I guess I'll work on that some time too. Then I went bowling with Chris and Dad. Kyle came up there eventually too. I bowled absolutely terribly, and I wasn't happy at all. I bowled a 92, 99 and 85 bowling my new regular way. I got a total of 3 spares and 2 strikes. I hit my leg again too, but not as bad as last time. Then, I changed it up and bowled a 101 and 118. That was 6 spares and 2 strikes. I marked twice in the 10th the 101 game, which is how I got that. I was so scared I was going to bowl that way Thursday too.

Here is Jessie finally cuddling with me. She hadn't been after her incident.

Thursday, July 29: Slept until ten after we both got in after midnight. I took a shower. Chris came over while Vivi went out with some friends. We just chilled. We played this game online for like ever. We got level 70 something, out of 300. We had to cheat sometimes, oh well. Vivi came back and Chris left, then Viv and I watched videos on YouTube forever. Then I went up to the bowling alley for league. I bowled a 142, 113, and a 138. Much better than the last night. I got six spares and 7 strikes. I was on the recap sheet for most improved average and the high handicap game from the last week. I got a double in the first and last game. I even marked in the tenth my first game. I stayed up there until Viv got back to house, then I headed home too. We just chilled for a while. It was a great day.

Friday, July 30: Viv and slept until ten again. Heck yeah. I got up and took a shower. Then Chris and I took Jessie to the vet. She was totally better though, so we just got her nails clipped and didn't mention her arm and back thing. When we got back, Chris, Viv, and I watched I Love You, Man. It had some gross parts, but it was pretty funny and had a happy ending. Once Chris left for work, Viv and I got ready for Zach's pool party and watched House. We went to Wal-Mart to go get hamburger and hot dog buns for Zach's party. Then we went to the jewelry store to go pick up my bracelet Chris gave me for our anniversary. It fits perfectly now! Then I picked up Melanee, and we headed to his house. We hung out for a while inside because it was thundering outside. We ate and watched The Princess Bride. Then we went swimming finally at like eight. It was fun swimming at night though. We just played with the beach ball pretty much the whole time. It was fun. I just realized I didn't take a single picture, that's sad.

Saturday, July 31: Despite the fact that my morning sucked and I barely got to see Chris, Saturday was an awesome day. The day started by getting a call from my mom at 630 in the morning to tell me to wake up for my test. I had to take this test at school to get into the Teacher Education program there. I fell back asleep and got up at 645. I rushed and grabbed a pop tart, then headed out the door on time at seven. I got to school at eight. I grabbed all my stuff and headed into the Student Center. I had to ask the front desk where to go, then I headed up the stairs to the third floor. Once I got there, there were tons of girls there and a few guys. I texted my mom and a woman came up to me and said I couldn't have my phone in the room. I walked back to my car and put my phone up. As I walked back into the lobby, another woman was announcing how purses could not go into the room. I was like, WHAT THE HECK!? WHY COULDN'T THAT OTHER LADY TELL ME THAT?! Anyway, I went BACK to my car, got my pencils, pens, ID, and ticket and headed back up to where my test was. Once we were getting in line to go into the room and have our ID check and all that, someone said we couldn't use mechanical pencils, which is all most people had, including myself. I freaked out. Thankfully, they had some provided for us. During the reading portion (there was reading, math, and writing), this lady asked if she could look at the front of my booklet. I freaked for like five minutes after that. I was re-reading all my questions because my heart was racing, and I couldn't concentrate. I didn't know why she wanted to look at it. The whole process was terrible, but I was so happy once it was over

Mine and Mel's epic jumps. This was
the only one we caught on camera.
Once I got back into town, I headed to Chris's for a little bit before heading to my grandparents' house with Viv and Mel. He was looking for puppies in the bulletin. Then I headed home to get ready to go to the lake. Mel came over and we headed to Wal-Mart. I got some water shoes/aqua socks but I hate touching the lake bottom. Then we headed to the lake. On the way there, I realized the song we were gonna do a video to wasn't on my iPod, we figured we'd improvise. Later I remembered that I forgot my tripod too. I was just thinking the day was getting worse and worse. Once we got there, it was so hot outside we just decided to go swimming before anything else. And that's what we did. It was so fun. We ended up making videos in the water, then land, and water again. We had some delicious dinner made by Grammie: ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, garlic bread, and butter beans. Then we went back to the water. After we were watered out, we went inside and sang karaoke for like ever. Then we left at like 930. We still were singing the whole hour home. It was so fun. Once we got into town, we stopped by Sonic. Then Melanee went home, and Viv and I just chilled for a while before going to bed. Jessie was being weird again too. I decided I was going to take her to the vet Monday no matter what. It was a great day!

Viv and Mel swimming around.

Us in the water.

Melanee thought she could got on the pier this way somehow. Needless to say, she failed.

The three of us goofing off. My shoes are so nerdy!

Melanee on the ladder/camera stand.

Who knows.

Mel's Zoolander face.

Viv being a mermaid for our "Part of Your World" video.

Here is Jessie cuddled with me. Can't you see how sad she looks. I sure hope it's nothing serious.

Wow, what a fun week, right? Hopefully my last two weeks of summer will be just as awesome! Look at that, I'm all caught up. It feels good. Goodnight!

Close, But No Cigar.

Darn. It's August 1st. And this isn't my blog about what happened last week. However, I'm hoping that after I do this, that I'll be able to do last week's as well. That way, I'm still caught up. I just have to do two in one day. This will be July 18 - July 24. Not much is going on today, so I should be able to handle. That is if I don't get too distracted by the House marathon that's on right now. Plus, we're having Dad's meatloaf tonight. What's better than that?! Anyway, on the the blogging.

My pretty Jessie cuddled on
top of my legs.
Sunday, July 18: I went to Calvary to go here Mark preach. I was a second late and got lost on the way there. There was a detour from a fallen tree. But I managed. Once I was home, Chris and I watched Psycho. That's actually a really good movie. I kept changing my mind on what I thought was going on. I liked it though. I went to Michael's to get some stuff for Viv's painting. I thought I'd get a yay-you're-in-college present. Pretty much just chilled the rest of the day.

Monday, July 19: I didn't do much in the morning. I didn't eat until three. I chilled in the afternoon. Painted Viv's painting. This time, I took pictures of the process. It's neat to see how the picture changes. After painting, or between it, I don't know, Dad and I went bowling. I bowled a 100, 145, 96, 112, and 137. That's a 118 average. I got eight spares and nine strikes. It was crazy though. The first game I should have had five in a row. My first five frames were all 9- excluding a strike in the second. I was getting ripped off so badly. Oh well, it happens I guess. It's not like I'm a great bowler anyway. Now here's my order for pictures. Obviously, I'm not an artist, but this is how I do things.

Step 1: The sketch. Here is my third sketch I did and the one that I chose.

Step 2: I didn't take a picture of just the "V," so this is technically the third step.

Step 4: The next color. You can see how the green isn't that great. But it's not the end.

Steps 5 and 6: Five would be the yellow and six would be going over all the colors. I definitely like hers a lot. The colors look much, much better in person.

Tuesday, July 20: Not a great morning. But whatever. I had class. Boring, as usual. But it was a week away from my final, and it felt so good. Dad and I ate Piccadilly. They gave me much more food than I could handle. That always happens there, but it was delicious. I went to Chris's when I got into town. Then we went to my house. It wasn't a great day for reasons that I won't go into. But no worries, all things are settled now. He went to sub at the bowling alley. I went up there eventually. It definitely wasn't a day high on my list of "days that'd be fun to relive."

Wednesday, July 21: I wasn't feeling well in the morning. All the problems from Tuesday got handled. Chris and I watched It Takes Two. That is one of the first that Chris and I have watched that didn't disappoint. I still think it was good, just like I did when I was younger. I went to the lake with Dad to his boss's lake house. It was so fun! I drove a sea-do by myself for the first time, I think it was the first anyways. I was going 40 some of the time! I had a blast. Then Charlie took his daughter Katie and me tubing and his son Charlie knee boarding. I had a blast. Kids are so fun. Being around them reminds me of part of the reason why I want to be a teacher. Once I got into town, I went bowling with Chris, Jeremy, and Jeremy's girlfriend. I bowled a 157, 133, 125, 112, and a 144. That's a 134 average. I got eight strikes and fifteen spares. I was definitely doing pretty good! I picked up a 4, 5, 7 split my first game, that was cool. I got doubles in my first, second, and last game. I freakin' left the six-pin three times in a row! How frustrating. And everyone agrees that my fourth game I was robbed again and again. And my last game, the first four frames were marks. Heck yeah. A good day for practice. Too bad I never bowl like that during league. I bet that was more than you wanted on bowling, ha. I just had lots of notes, and it was five games. So, give me a break.
Here's my sweet Jessie sleeping in my blankie. I love her!

Love me some pig tails.
Thursday, July 22: I had class. LAST ONE BEFORE MY FINAL. Boy, what a great feeling. Chris met me at the mall, and we went to go see Inception. It was a great movie. We chilled for the hour plus that we had before bowling. Then, off to the bowling alley for league. I bowled a 125, 161, and a 131. First game: four spares and zero strikes. I had nine open four times! In my notes I wrote, in bold caps mind you, "QUEEN OF THE HALF-INCH MISS!" Which is what my dad says, but Chris said it should said "quarter-inch," so I wrote that underneath. Second game: Ughhhhhh. Don't get me started, oh well. You did. I got five spares and two strikes. I got a double and four spares my first six frames. Sounds good, right? Well, I could have had higher than a 161. Higher than a 172 even (which is my highest game ever). Wanna know what I did?! I freakin' "fowled" my tenth frame. See, my foot stuck when I threw the ball. The ball was headed down the lane, and I was sliding my foot on the approach trying to find where I stuck, and I accidentally went over the foul line. WHAT THE HECK?! Ugh. I was so mad. Third game: one spare and three strikes. I split in the tenth frame. Eh, I still bowled a 417 series! Yay! First 400 in league. So, it was a good night. Just took me a few frames to get over what happened my second game. But hey, you'd be mad too. Especially when you could have beat your highest game ever. Oh well.

Friday, July 23: I had a nice day that actually felt like summer and slept until ten. I love doing that. I never could sleep in before, I think I've made up for lost time this summer, ha. And the only reason I got up was because the appliance guy came to fix the dish washer. I just chilled the rest of the day and went to Longhorn with Dad. It was much more crowded that it is when I got with Mom. It was just as delicious though! Friday was wonderful.

I forgot to take a picture of the recap thing, but hey. I got over 600k twice within eleven days of each other. Sweet!

Isn't she sweet. I don't know what this look was for, but I love how you can see her blue eye so well in this picture.

Mel's dog who I call

they changed her name

sitting up on the couch like
this when Mel made her.
It was pretty funny.
Saturday, July 24: I hung out with Chris before he had to go to work. We were lazy, no surprise. And I was still lazy after he left. Then, as I was sitting on my butt doing nothing, Melanee texted me and demanded that I come over and swim with her and Zach. I didn't argue. As I was over there, she invited me to stay the night too with her and Hannah. So I did. Swimming was fun. We had fun on the tubes and went torpedo diving. We watched some House and ate Ria's. Great day. Once Hannah was there and Zach was gone, we just chilled in the living room. It was lots of fun. We all slept in the living room, along with Aidan, Mel's little brother. He wanted to be apart of the sleepover too I guess.

Here's my totally fail while trying to stand on the tube like Mel. It was fun though. I got it eventually for like two seconds.

Well, sounds like a pretty good week, toward the end at least. Now hopefully I'll get last week in today too. That'll be good. So yeah. Hopefully I'll get last week in today, or at least by tomorrow.

Two To Go.

That's right. Two more weeks and then I'll be on this week. Yay! So, let's get to business. This will be the week of July 11 - July 17. Let's get started, shall we?

First off: I knew there were pictures of Jessie that I wanted to post last week that I didn't. I'm not going to go into nerdy details about my organizing, which is the cause of why I missed the pictures. But, I feel bad not including her pictures last time. So get prepared for some Jessie overload (not that there is such a thing. you can never get too much Jessie.). The date is in the (parentheses)

Here's her bowl after she destroyed it looking for the good stuff at the bottom. (07.04.10)

Just a cute one of her chilling in the recliner. She's such a princess. She just looks at the recliner and whines until someone puts her up there, which is fine with me. I love coming to her rescue. (07.04.10)

ISN'T SHE SO DARN CUTE! I know, I know. (07.05.10)

Ha, she was using the arm of the couch as a pillow. (07.07.10)

Now, didn't those make you smile? How can she do anything else. Now, time to get to the week at hand.

Sunday, July 11: I went to Destiny with Dad and met Bek up there too. It was good, like always. I chilled with Chris for a bit, but he was still working on school stuff. Then Mom and I went to Michael's for the big sale. I bought lots. I don't remember what all I got, but it was a lot. Then we went to Olive Garden. It was wonderful, of course. They forgot our mints! Erg, the nerve of them. But, when they forget and you have to ask for them, they give you a ton. And Mom doesn't like them, so I had like seven all to myself. That's what I'm talking about. I mean, getting one of those Andes is a part of the Olive Garden experience. That's all I have down.

Monday, July 12: I met up with Kyle at my wonderful summer school so he could help me with my book report that I had to do. It was really nice of him to help me. I had some problems with the previous book that I had, so he checked out three more for me to try. Thanks, Kyle. I had Popeye's sometime apparently. Probably with Dad. Then I worked on my dumb book report. Boo on that.

I also got 614,850 on Bejeweled Blitz! Heck yeah. It was my first time breaking 600k. I was very proud. I jumped up and started freaking out. I'm sure Chris thought I was a complete loser.

Here's sweet Jessie just laying out of the covers like she's a person.

Here's Chris sleeping on my
shoulder. How cute =)
Tuesday, July 13: I GOT HOME SEASON FOOTBALL TICKETS! Heck yeah. Too bad I have no one to go to the games with. So, I don't know how this will work. I guess I need to work on making some more friends, ha. I had class. I went to Applebee's with Dad. I couldn't eat half of my food. Don't know why, but I got full so fast. I worked on my book report. Then game the wonderfully awesome All-Star baseball game. I don't remember like anything about it. But yeah. Tuesday wasn't the best day ever, but it wasn't the worst.

Wednesday, July 14: Went to Ryan's with Chris and Mom I assume. Chris and I watched Rock-a-Doodle. I had some flashbacks while watching it. I worked on the dumb book report like crazy, seeing as it was due Thursday. Once I finished it at like six, we took Jessie to PetSmart for her birthday. I'm not exactly sure when her exact birthday is. It's either the 14th or the 16th, so we just go with the 15th. Ha, so she got her present a day early. She had a pretty good one, I'd say. She got a new bed to have in my room, some Pup-peroni treats, a ball (that she has already lost), and a toy bone. She seemed to like everything. Also, MY NEW CONVERSE CAME IN. Heck yeah. My thirteenth pair. That's what I'm talking about. We had McDonald's for dinner. Then we just watched some TV. Good day.

Hello beautiful shoes!

Aw, Jessie just loves cuddling with Chris, who was also doing school work.

Jessie in her bed in Chris's truck. Ha, I thought it was cute.

All of Jessie's presents.

Thursday, July 15: I had class. Turned in my paper. Whoop-dee-do. I went to Sonic. It took forever. Went to work. Rested at the house for an hour. Went bowling. Hung out with Chris during scratch, of course. I bowled a 138, 117, and a 131. I got 7 spares and 6 strikes. Two of those being doubles. As in, I got a double one time and a double another time. Heck yeah. Thursday wasn't anything special.

Jessie's little nose sticking out in her new bed. Yay!

Friday, July 16: I went to work. I finished my job nice and early and left as soon as I finished, hoping I wouldn't have to come back. At least not until next summer or over Christmas break. "PR Pick Dip" WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! I don't know. It's in my notes. This drives me crazy. I watched the Tyra show when I got home, ha. It was actually interesting stuff. I went to get my bracelet looked at at the jewelry store. They're gonna take some links out so it isn't quite as loose and I can wear it everyday! Went to Mexico Tipico with my mom. She gave me some awesome pens that we ordered from Office Depot. I was lazy the rest of the night. Turning in my book report felt like there wasn't too much else going on. I needed to chill.

Poor little Max at work. He hurt his ear and had a cone and a cast thing. It was pitiful and depressing. He's all better now though!

She was just really cute this week apparently. She's in her new bed, and it made me so happy, so I had to take a picture!

Ah, I love her. She's all cuddled on the couch. So cute.

Tell me that isn't so precious. I know, it is.

Saturday, July 17: Chris and I saw Despicable Me at movies. So cute. I highly recommend it. I'd say it goes up pretty high on my favorite movies. I went shopping with the madre. Got some stuff from JC Penny and Shoe Station. I got a freaking adorable dress, some black flats (which I have been dying to have!), some sweet jeans, two plain colored shirts [black and a blue one to match my converse], two tank/cami things [purple and pink]. I don't know what else. Mom and I picked up some KFC and took it back to the house, but I started feeling super sick and I didn't eat hardly any of it at all. I felt better eventually and went bowling with Dad. I bowled a 104, 115, 126, and a 64 (practicing new stuff, obviously). I averaged 115 excluding the last game. I got 3 strikes and 9 spares. Not my best, but definitely not my worst! And that's that.

She straight up posed for this picture. She was looking at me, I took out my phone, she turned like that modeling, and I took the picture and she turned back. It was so funny.

Another bed shot, of course. I can't help myself.

Now time to finish She's The Man with Vivi. Have a great day tomorrow.

Almost There.

Ugh! Will I EVER catch up? I sure do hope so. But if I want to, then I need to get with it. So, since this is so very important, I'm taking a break from studying for my dreadful final to do this. I mean, I had to take a break sometime, right? I've been studying for two hours; I think I deserve it. Today we will be focusing on July 4 - July 10. Do you realize what that means? It means that after this one, I'll have two more weeks to do, and then I'll be on this week! Woo hoo. So, let's get this thing going! (Plus, I'm doing this because Facebook keeps messing up on my computer, so I need some new entertainment.)

Here is me and my beautiful
mother on the pier. (Yeah, I'm
wearing the same outfit as
Saturday, deal with it.)
Sunday, July 4: HAPY BIRTHDAY BEKAH AND HAPPY FOURTH! I hung out with my lovely boyfriend, of course. Then, my mom and I headed over to Grammie and Papa's at the lake to stay the night. Dottie and Bob were going to be there, so I knew it would be fun hanging out with everyone. I brought Taboo, but we never played. We'll have to next time for sure. We ate, no surprise there. It was delicious, that isn't a surprise either. But, you do want to have some surprise, right? Well, guess what else we did? We played poker! Wait, you already knew that? Well darn. What can I say, the grents house is always full of food, fun, and poker. It wouldn't be the same without it. I had lots of great hands, but people had better ones. That was disappointing. Mom gave me some chips one time because she felt so bad for me. I don't remember what I had, but I just knew I was going to win. I did win some, of course, but I'll brag about that later. I put ten dollars in, and ended with ten dollars. That's better than losing anything, so I was happy about it. Something different did happen though, we watched fireworks! Yay! Unfortunately, I didn't have my real camera since I think the charger is in storage somewhere, so I only had my camera on my phone. Not that it's a bad camera, it just has a delay, so my pictures weren't too great. Jessie enjoyed herself too. She's so freaking adorable.

This is how I started Sunday. With this bad boy. I'm a Bejeweled Blitz addict, and have been loving Bejeweled itself since my brother first showed to it to me years ago on his little Palm thingy. I think this is my highest score, so I had to take a picture. Granted, I did have three "boots" going. But still, it's good. (Plus, if you look to the right, you'll see that I beat my dad!)

That's right! I won George with four aces! No wilds. That's a great hand for the game. I was betting and no one knew why. Ah, it felt good.

Eh, here's a not-so-great picture of some of the fireworks. I took a ton, but none of them turned out that good.

Monday, July 5: We got up bright and early to have a yummy breakfast. Then they played some more cards, but I just edited some of mine and Mel's videos from school. Once we got home, I hung out with Chris for a little while. He had a paper to do and work soon, so I didn't see him for that long. Dad and I went over to his boss Charlie's house for some burgers and swimming. It was the first time I swam ALL SUMMER. So depressing. It was fun. I actually exercised the whole time. I did "laps" I guess. I swam to the deep end regularly and swam back to the shallow end under water. I did it ten times. Every third time, I did a back stroke to the deep end. And, after the fourth time, When I was by the diving board I did five pull ups off the end of it, and five using the sides. Complicated? Not really. It wasn't like a great work out or anything, but it was something. I was definitely feeling it in my legs and arms, which is all that counts. Plus, it was actually fun! I could work out in a pool all day long, not in the gym... that's a different story. You never hear me say anything about going with Chris, have you? Yeah, I know. The food was great too. I tried spinach dip without knowing what it was, and it wasn't that bad. I'd still rather have something else though. After that, I wrote down that we went shopping. To where, I have no clue. Probably Michael's for my next project, I'm sure. Then, Dad and I went bowling. I bowled a 139, 149, 138, and 134. Yeah buddy! Get this, that's a 140 average! Woo hoo. I got five strikes and sixteen spares. I marked in the tenth frame three out of four times (I split the other time), which is huge for me. So Monday, thanks for being good to me, and Sunday for that matter!

Look how great my painting looks next to the flowers, if I do say so myself!

Here is the gorgeous bracelet
that Chris got me! It's gold
hearts with little diamonds
on them. I love love love it!

Tuesday, July 6: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABY! That's right! One year with my wonderful and absolutely amazing boyfriend. Ah, it felt so good to finally say that. It feels like we've been together for years and just a few months at the same time. Chris has been so great to me over the past year, and I don't know what I'd do without him. Thanks so much Babe! I got him sunglasses, some of Grammie's pound cake (ha!), a picture of us, the bowling ball, a gift card for gas money for when he comes to visit me, and some Toy Story rubber band bracelets. His still cost more than all mine put together, but hey, it's the thought that counts, right? Plus, I was gonna spend more on the bowling ball. I think we both got great presents. Unfortunately, neither of us were feeling all that great. We went to Longhorn, since it's my favorite (another thank you to you Chris), but Chris didn't have much of an appetite. Our waiter was very friendly too. I joked saying he was just working for a tip, but either way, he guessed I was 20 or 21, so I like him! Then we just chilled at my house for a bit. We ran to Michael's again I guess? I don't know. I just assume "shop" means Michael's since they've basically been getting my pay checks. Oh yeah! I forgot, I happened to not have school on this day too, which worked out perfectly! I assume Monday classes were off for the Fourth, so Tuesday got off too. Anyway, back to Chris and me. We played some pool. I don't remember who won overall. Then, Melanee, Ben, and Candace came over to watch a movie. We watched It. It wasn't nearly as scary as I remember it being, but it was still kind of light outside when we started watching it. It was fun. Once they all left, Chris and I watched Napoleon Dynamite with Dad. I'm sad to say that I feel asleep though. Ugh, oh well. So, another great day!

Wednesday, July 7: Chris and I went over to another flea market to go see if we could get anymore old movies. And we did! I got Robin Hood (which I later found out was messed up! Ugh!), Passport to Paris, Twilight, and THE LION KING! Chris and I both have been searching everywhere for that movie. I was so happy when I found it! They had a Lion King game too, but I resisted. It was hard though. After that, we went to Movie Gallery since they're closing and their movies were $1.99. Heck yeah. I got Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, The Uninvited, and Pink Panther 2 (for Bekah's birthday present). I haven't seen any of those movies and it was all less that $5! Mom called and asked us to pick her up some McDonald's, so that's what we ended up eating for lunch. Except, when we got to my house, Chris remembered he was supposed to eat with Kyle, so he put his burgers in the fridge and went with Kyle to yucky Chinese. I studied some. Now, I can't read the next thing on my notes. It looks like it says "fox," but I have no idea what that means or if that's what it says. I also have something else written really small. Maybe Sonic? Not sure. I also went to Calvary that night. That was nice. It was the first week though, and no one told me to be prepared for pizza, so I wasn't. So yeah, it probably did say Sonic. I guess I ate before church. Church was good. I'm glad I got to see everyone. We talked about Revelations. I think it was the last night of it, too. I don't know what we'll do next. So yeah, that was Wednesday.

Thursday, July 8: I had school, boo. I went to Wendy's before work. Then work. Then home. Chris and I played some more pool. Again, I don't remember who won. I think he won Tuesday, and I won this day. Something like that. We had bowling. I bowled a 120, 96, and 153. That's a 123 average. I got five strikes (two being a double) and 7 spares (four of those were in a row). I wasn't feeling good, AT ALL. I seriously just wanted to lay down and cry. I tried eating some Arby's afterwards with my dad. And I ate okay, but I just rested. I didn't stay for scratch league with Chris.

There's my name on the recap sheet, as I said in the last post. Highest handicap game for women for the season!
(I had all that typed under my picture of the sheet, but then I realized my last name was on it, along with lots of other names, so I took it off.)

Friday, July 9: I had work. I got there, but then skipped out an hour basically for the Amputees Across America. We watched them and went to this little speaker thing. We went for the food, but left before it was served because we were bored. Ha, how awful. We went to support Rachel, too. She was one of the bikers (she's not an amputee, she's an employee). When I got home, I hung out with Chris before he had work. Then I went to Michael's while waiting for Dad to get into town so we could so about fixing my computer because Word had just disappeared from it. I thought they were having this big sale, but it actually started the 11th, so I bought one thing and went home. We met at the Mac store (they fixed it in only an hours time! [sarcasm]) and then to eat at McAlister's. It was yummy! Then I went back to Michael's to use another coupon I had. Good day, yes.

Can't see her, but she's in the middle in the yellow. Go Rachel!

Sketching of Bek's painting, hopefully it'll turn out right!

Aren't they so darn cute! Dad
falls asleep in the strangest
positions, haha.
Saturday, July 10: I hung out with Chris. We ate at Taco Bell. They were working on the outside of it and it was so hot inside! Plus, it was noisy. AND, they called our number three times before it was actually our order. What a tease! They kept messing up; it was always someone else's. I painted Bek's picture and then ran it over to her house along with Pink Panther 2 and her card. Then I went to Wal-Mart to pick up the picture I got for Chris (yeah, I didn't order it on time, so that part came in late). Dad and I ate at Chick-fil-A and then went bowling. I bowled a 137, 125, 129, and a 74. I was practicing the last game, so it doesn't really count. I was throwing it differently. It was really crowded too, so we bowled with Jim, who's on our league team, and his wife Sandra. It was fun. I averaged 116 (130 if exclude the last one!), got eight strikes and seven spares. A great end to a great week.

Here's Bekah's painting. Not what I hoped and not my favorite, but I still like it.

Here is her cute card, too. I like using the same colors in the painting in the card to make them match.

Well, I better get back to dumb ole studying now. Chris will be back from taking his finals soon, too. Then I can finally eat some dinner. Goodnight!

-peace.
