Two To Go.

That's right. Two more weeks and then I'll be on this week. Yay! So, let's get to business. This will be the week of July 11 - July 17. Let's get started, shall we?

First off: I knew there were pictures of Jessie that I wanted to post last week that I didn't. I'm not going to go into nerdy details about my organizing, which is the cause of why I missed the pictures. But, I feel bad not including her pictures last time. So get prepared for some Jessie overload (not that there is such a thing. you can never get too much Jessie.). The date is in the (parentheses)

Here's her bowl after she destroyed it looking for the good stuff at the bottom. (07.04.10)

Just a cute one of her chilling in the recliner. She's such a princess. She just looks at the recliner and whines until someone puts her up there, which is fine with me. I love coming to her rescue. (07.04.10)

ISN'T SHE SO DARN CUTE! I know, I know. (07.05.10)

Ha, she was using the arm of the couch as a pillow. (07.07.10)

Now, didn't those make you smile? How can she do anything else. Now, time to get to the week at hand.

Sunday, July 11: I went to Destiny with Dad and met Bek up there too. It was good, like always. I chilled with Chris for a bit, but he was still working on school stuff. Then Mom and I went to Michael's for the big sale. I bought lots. I don't remember what all I got, but it was a lot. Then we went to Olive Garden. It was wonderful, of course. They forgot our mints! Erg, the nerve of them. But, when they forget and you have to ask for them, they give you a ton. And Mom doesn't like them, so I had like seven all to myself. That's what I'm talking about. I mean, getting one of those Andes is a part of the Olive Garden experience. That's all I have down.

Monday, July 12: I met up with Kyle at my wonderful summer school so he could help me with my book report that I had to do. It was really nice of him to help me. I had some problems with the previous book that I had, so he checked out three more for me to try. Thanks, Kyle. I had Popeye's sometime apparently. Probably with Dad. Then I worked on my dumb book report. Boo on that.

I also got 614,850 on Bejeweled Blitz! Heck yeah. It was my first time breaking 600k. I was very proud. I jumped up and started freaking out. I'm sure Chris thought I was a complete loser.

Here's sweet Jessie just laying out of the covers like she's a person.

Here's Chris sleeping on my
shoulder. How cute =)
Tuesday, July 13: I GOT HOME SEASON FOOTBALL TICKETS! Heck yeah. Too bad I have no one to go to the games with. So, I don't know how this will work. I guess I need to work on making some more friends, ha. I had class. I went to Applebee's with Dad. I couldn't eat half of my food. Don't know why, but I got full so fast. I worked on my book report. Then game the wonderfully awesome All-Star baseball game. I don't remember like anything about it. But yeah. Tuesday wasn't the best day ever, but it wasn't the worst.

Wednesday, July 14: Went to Ryan's with Chris and Mom I assume. Chris and I watched Rock-a-Doodle. I had some flashbacks while watching it. I worked on the dumb book report like crazy, seeing as it was due Thursday. Once I finished it at like six, we took Jessie to PetSmart for her birthday. I'm not exactly sure when her exact birthday is. It's either the 14th or the 16th, so we just go with the 15th. Ha, so she got her present a day early. She had a pretty good one, I'd say. She got a new bed to have in my room, some Pup-peroni treats, a ball (that she has already lost), and a toy bone. She seemed to like everything. Also, MY NEW CONVERSE CAME IN. Heck yeah. My thirteenth pair. That's what I'm talking about. We had McDonald's for dinner. Then we just watched some TV. Good day.

Hello beautiful shoes!

Aw, Jessie just loves cuddling with Chris, who was also doing school work.

Jessie in her bed in Chris's truck. Ha, I thought it was cute.

All of Jessie's presents.

Thursday, July 15: I had class. Turned in my paper. Whoop-dee-do. I went to Sonic. It took forever. Went to work. Rested at the house for an hour. Went bowling. Hung out with Chris during scratch, of course. I bowled a 138, 117, and a 131. I got 7 spares and 6 strikes. Two of those being doubles. As in, I got a double one time and a double another time. Heck yeah. Thursday wasn't anything special.

Jessie's little nose sticking out in her new bed. Yay!

Friday, July 16: I went to work. I finished my job nice and early and left as soon as I finished, hoping I wouldn't have to come back. At least not until next summer or over Christmas break. "PR Pick Dip" WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! I don't know. It's in my notes. This drives me crazy. I watched the Tyra show when I got home, ha. It was actually interesting stuff. I went to get my bracelet looked at at the jewelry store. They're gonna take some links out so it isn't quite as loose and I can wear it everyday! Went to Mexico Tipico with my mom. She gave me some awesome pens that we ordered from Office Depot. I was lazy the rest of the night. Turning in my book report felt like there wasn't too much else going on. I needed to chill.

Poor little Max at work. He hurt his ear and had a cone and a cast thing. It was pitiful and depressing. He's all better now though!

She was just really cute this week apparently. She's in her new bed, and it made me so happy, so I had to take a picture!

Ah, I love her. She's all cuddled on the couch. So cute.

Tell me that isn't so precious. I know, it is.

Saturday, July 17: Chris and I saw Despicable Me at movies. So cute. I highly recommend it. I'd say it goes up pretty high on my favorite movies. I went shopping with the madre. Got some stuff from JC Penny and Shoe Station. I got a freaking adorable dress, some black flats (which I have been dying to have!), some sweet jeans, two plain colored shirts [black and a blue one to match my converse], two tank/cami things [purple and pink]. I don't know what else. Mom and I picked up some KFC and took it back to the house, but I started feeling super sick and I didn't eat hardly any of it at all. I felt better eventually and went bowling with Dad. I bowled a 104, 115, 126, and a 64 (practicing new stuff, obviously). I averaged 115 excluding the last game. I got 3 strikes and 9 spares. Not my best, but definitely not my worst! And that's that.

She straight up posed for this picture. She was looking at me, I took out my phone, she turned like that modeling, and I took the picture and she turned back. It was so funny.

Another bed shot, of course. I can't help myself.

Now time to finish She's The Man with Vivi. Have a great day tomorrow.

-peace.

Almost There.

Ugh! Will I EVER catch up? I sure do hope so. But if I want to, then I need to get with it. So, since this is so very important, I'm taking a break from studying for my dreadful final to do this. I mean, I had to take a break sometime, right? I've been studying for two hours; I think I deserve it. Today we will be focusing on July 4 - July 10. Do you realize what that means? It means that after this one, I'll have two more weeks to do, and then I'll be on this week! Woo hoo. So, let's get this thing going! (Plus, I'm doing this because Facebook keeps messing up on my computer, so I need some new entertainment.)

Here is me and my beautiful
mother on the pier. (Yeah, I'm
wearing the same outfit as
Saturday, deal with it.)
Sunday, July 4: HAPY BIRTHDAY BEKAH AND HAPPY FOURTH! I hung out with my lovely boyfriend, of course. Then, my mom and I headed over to Grammie and Papa's at the lake to stay the night. Dottie and Bob were going to be there, so I knew it would be fun hanging out with everyone. I brought Taboo, but we never played. We'll have to next time for sure. We ate, no surprise there. It was delicious, that isn't a surprise either. But, you do want to have some surprise, right? Well, guess what else we did? We played poker! Wait, you already knew that? Well darn. What can I say, the grents house is always full of food, fun, and poker. It wouldn't be the same without it. I had lots of great hands, but people had better ones. That was disappointing. Mom gave me some chips one time because she felt so bad for me. I don't remember what I had, but I just knew I was going to win. I did win some, of course, but I'll brag about that later. I put ten dollars in, and ended with ten dollars. That's better than losing anything, so I was happy about it. Something different did happen though, we watched fireworks! Yay! Unfortunately, I didn't have my real camera since I think the charger is in storage somewhere, so I only had my camera on my phone. Not that it's a bad camera, it just has a delay, so my pictures weren't too great. Jessie enjoyed herself too. She's so freaking adorable.

This is how I started Sunday. With this bad boy. I'm a Bejeweled Blitz addict, and have been loving Bejeweled itself since my brother first showed to it to me years ago on his little Palm thingy. I think this is my highest score, so I had to take a picture. Granted, I did have three "boots" going. But still, it's good. (Plus, if you look to the right, you'll see that I beat my dad!)

That's right! I won George with four aces! No wilds. That's a great hand for the game. I was betting and no one knew why. Ah, it felt good.

Eh, here's a not-so-great picture of some of the fireworks. I took a ton, but none of them turned out that good.

Monday, July 5: We got up bright and early to have a yummy breakfast. Then they played some more cards, but I just edited some of mine and Mel's videos from school. Once we got home, I hung out with Chris for a little while. He had a paper to do and work soon, so I didn't see him for that long. Dad and I went over to his boss Charlie's house for some burgers and swimming. It was the first time I swam ALL SUMMER. So depressing. It was fun. I actually exercised the whole time. I did "laps" I guess. I swam to the deep end regularly and swam back to the shallow end under water. I did it ten times. Every third time, I did a back stroke to the deep end. And, after the fourth time, When I was by the diving board I did five pull ups off the end of it, and five using the sides. Complicated? Not really. It wasn't like a great work out or anything, but it was something. I was definitely feeling it in my legs and arms, which is all that counts. Plus, it was actually fun! I could work out in a pool all day long, not in the gym... that's a different story. You never hear me say anything about going with Chris, have you? Yeah, I know. The food was great too. I tried spinach dip without knowing what it was, and it wasn't that bad. I'd still rather have something else though. After that, I wrote down that we went shopping. To where, I have no clue. Probably Michael's for my next project, I'm sure. Then, Dad and I went bowling. I bowled a 139, 149, 138, and 134. Yeah buddy! Get this, that's a 140 average! Woo hoo. I got five strikes and sixteen spares. I marked in the tenth frame three out of four times (I split the other time), which is huge for me. So Monday, thanks for being good to me, and Sunday for that matter!

Look how great my painting looks next to the flowers, if I do say so myself!

Here is the gorgeous bracelet
that Chris got me! It's gold
hearts with little diamonds
on them. I love love love it!

Tuesday, July 6: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABY! That's right! One year with my wonderful and absolutely amazing boyfriend. Ah, it felt so good to finally say that. It feels like we've been together for years and just a few months at the same time. Chris has been so great to me over the past year, and I don't know what I'd do without him. Thanks so much Babe! I got him sunglasses, some of Grammie's pound cake (ha!), a picture of us, the bowling ball, a gift card for gas money for when he comes to visit me, and some Toy Story rubber band bracelets. His still cost more than all mine put together, but hey, it's the thought that counts, right? Plus, I was gonna spend more on the bowling ball. I think we both got great presents. Unfortunately, neither of us were feeling all that great. We went to Longhorn, since it's my favorite (another thank you to you Chris), but Chris didn't have much of an appetite. Our waiter was very friendly too. I joked saying he was just working for a tip, but either way, he guessed I was 20 or 21, so I like him! Then we just chilled at my house for a bit. We ran to Michael's again I guess? I don't know. I just assume "shop" means Michael's since they've basically been getting my pay checks. Oh yeah! I forgot, I happened to not have school on this day too, which worked out perfectly! I assume Monday classes were off for the Fourth, so Tuesday got off too. Anyway, back to Chris and me. We played some pool. I don't remember who won overall. Then, Melanee, Ben, and Candace came over to watch a movie. We watched It. It wasn't nearly as scary as I remember it being, but it was still kind of light outside when we started watching it. It was fun. Once they all left, Chris and I watched Napoleon Dynamite with Dad. I'm sad to say that I feel asleep though. Ugh, oh well. So, another great day!

Wednesday, July 7: Chris and I went over to another flea market to go see if we could get anymore old movies. And we did! I got Robin Hood (which I later found out was messed up! Ugh!), Passport to Paris, Twilight, and THE LION KING! Chris and I both have been searching everywhere for that movie. I was so happy when I found it! They had a Lion King game too, but I resisted. It was hard though. After that, we went to Movie Gallery since they're closing and their movies were $1.99. Heck yeah. I got Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, The Uninvited, and Pink Panther 2 (for Bekah's birthday present). I haven't seen any of those movies and it was all less that $5! Mom called and asked us to pick her up some McDonald's, so that's what we ended up eating for lunch. Except, when we got to my house, Chris remembered he was supposed to eat with Kyle, so he put his burgers in the fridge and went with Kyle to yucky Chinese. I studied some. Now, I can't read the next thing on my notes. It looks like it says "fox," but I have no idea what that means or if that's what it says. I also have something else written really small. Maybe Sonic? Not sure. I also went to Calvary that night. That was nice. It was the first week though, and no one told me to be prepared for pizza, so I wasn't. So yeah, it probably did say Sonic. I guess I ate before church. Church was good. I'm glad I got to see everyone. We talked about Revelations. I think it was the last night of it, too. I don't know what we'll do next. So yeah, that was Wednesday.

Thursday, July 8: I had school, boo. I went to Wendy's before work. Then work. Then home. Chris and I played some more pool. Again, I don't remember who won. I think he won Tuesday, and I won this day. Something like that. We had bowling. I bowled a 120, 96, and 153. That's a 123 average. I got five strikes (two being a double) and 7 spares (four of those were in a row). I wasn't feeling good, AT ALL. I seriously just wanted to lay down and cry. I tried eating some Arby's afterwards with my dad. And I ate okay, but I just rested. I didn't stay for scratch league with Chris.

There's my name on the recap sheet, as I said in the last post. Highest handicap game for women for the season!
(I had all that typed under my picture of the sheet, but then I realized my last name was on it, along with lots of other names, so I took it off.)

Friday, July 9: I had work. I got there, but then skipped out an hour basically for the Amputees Across America. We watched them and went to this little speaker thing. We went for the food, but left before it was served because we were bored. Ha, how awful. We went to support Rachel, too. She was one of the bikers (she's not an amputee, she's an employee). When I got home, I hung out with Chris before he had work. Then I went to Michael's while waiting for Dad to get into town so we could so about fixing my computer because Word had just disappeared from it. I thought they were having this big sale, but it actually started the 11th, so I bought one thing and went home. We met at the Mac store (they fixed it in only an hours time! [sarcasm]) and then to eat at McAlister's. It was yummy! Then I went back to Michael's to use another coupon I had. Good day, yes.

Can't see her, but she's in the middle in the yellow. Go Rachel!

Sketching of Bek's painting, hopefully it'll turn out right!

Aren't they so darn cute! Dad
falls asleep in the strangest
positions, haha.
Saturday, July 10: I hung out with Chris. We ate at Taco Bell. They were working on the outside of it and it was so hot inside! Plus, it was noisy. AND, they called our number three times before it was actually our order. What a tease! They kept messing up; it was always someone else's. I painted Bek's picture and then ran it over to her house along with Pink Panther 2 and her card. Then I went to Wal-Mart to pick up the picture I got for Chris (yeah, I didn't order it on time, so that part came in late). Dad and I ate at Chick-fil-A and then went bowling. I bowled a 137, 125, 129, and a 74. I was practicing the last game, so it doesn't really count. I was throwing it differently. It was really crowded too, so we bowled with Jim, who's on our league team, and his wife Sandra. It was fun. I averaged 116 (130 if exclude the last one!), got eight strikes and seven spares. A great end to a great week.

Here's Bekah's painting. Not what I hoped and not my favorite, but I still like it.

Here is her cute card, too. I like using the same colors in the painting in the card to make them match.

Well, I better get back to dumb ole studying now. Chris will be back from taking his finals soon, too. Then I can finally eat some dinner. Goodnight!

More Catching Up

Here there. I'm getting right with it this time. June 27 - July 3 will be this ones focus. Finally I'm getting into July and it's about to be August! I'll have to do a lot of blogs to be caught up before August, but I'll do my best. What, August is only a week away. Ah, I got a lot to do! Let's get started.

How hard it must be to be a dog.
(These are Tay's done, Jack on
the left and Enzo to the right.)
Sunday, June 27: I still wasn't feeling well, so I slept until noon. Once I woke up and realized what time it was I jumped up and got ready because I was going to Taylor's house! I was so excited because we never get to hang out anymore. It was just a small thing for her birthday. It was fun just chilling over there and seeing her and her family. After that, Chris and I went to go see Toy Story 3. Wow, what a cute movie! It made me want to re-watch the original one, which I haven't seen in forever! The movie made my eyes water; it was so adorable. I loved it. After the movies, Chris and I were hungry. On the way to get Popeye's, "the bucket fell out" and it started raining like crazy! We were soaked once we got inside, and it was cold in there, which didn't help the situation. By the time we were done eating the rain had stopped though, thank goodness! There wasn't much else to that day that I can remember. It was a good day though.

Monday, June 28: I hung out with Chris in the morning before he had work. Then an old friend, Emily, came over. We watched a lame Disney movie, 16 Wishes. I can't believe I've talked about two moves and haven't done my fabulous movie reviews, haha. I'll have to do that again when I'm actually caught up. I'm sure I'm boring you enough as it is. Anyway, once she left and Dad was home, Dad and I went to eat at Logan's. I've only eaten there once. I can't remember what I got or what I thought of it. I do know that there was this cute little kid next to us who was trying to help me figure out the dumb ketchup bottle. I had to get a new one because the plastic wasn't off good enough on the one we had. After that, you'll never guess what we did. We went bowling! Kyle joined us too. I bowled a 96, 98, 134, and 104. Not a great night for me. I guess getting sick was getting in the way. I averaged 108, which isn't bad I guess for me then (I've improved a lot since then!). I got six strikes and six spares. Eh. Whatever. At least I got spend time with my dad and see Chris.

Our yummy treats =) They were
delicious, if I do say so myself.
Tuesday, June 29: I had school, of course. Dad and I went to the mall to go see about getting something for my tickets from the Sunday with the mall incident. I got some refund tickets that expired on July 30 for the movies at the mall. When I got home, I went over to Chris's, and we made "fruity-crispie treats" I guess they're called. They were delicious! That night we went to his Nana's house for dinner, so we brought them there for dessert. She is the cutest woman with her petite self and Puerto Rican accent. I love her! And you'll never guess what she made?! Cube steak, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn, and garlic bread!!! It's like she knew. That's exactly (excluding the bread and corn, those differ) what my Grammie makes when Chris and I go over there. It was really good too! She's so sweet. I caught her up on The Secret Life, that was entertaining. Once we left her house, I rested up to get ready to see the Eclipse midnight premiere with Bekah. It was better than the other two, but it didn't live up to what I wanted it to be. But hey, nothing could live up to the books.

Wednesday, June 30: I went to the flea market with my mom. I spent $36! I bought several old movies. I'm trying to remember them all: It Takes Two, Charlotte's Web, Rock-a-Doodle, How the West was Fun, We're Back, and Peter Cottontail. I also got some cute snack dish thingys for our apartment, a cute frame, and Disney charades (which was missing the game board, even though it said "all pieces included" on it- liars!). I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Oh yeah! I bought like five Ty beanie babies from McDonald's, like the mini ones. Heck yeah. I also got a pound puppy. I do lose my self control sometimes. Who doesn't? I also got Chris a 14-pound plastic bowling ball and bag that was originally $20, but it was 75% off! Only $5! What a deal. Chris does really well with it too. Bad thing is, that ruined what I was going to get him for our anniversary. I think a $5 present isn't quite enough. Then Mom, Chris, and I ate at Mexico Tipico. It was delicious! When Chris and I got back to the house, we watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine with my dad. I love that movie! That night, Chris and I bowled the cosmic bowling with Jeremy and Kyle. I bowled a 130, 136, 146, 136, 105, and 116. Yeah buddy! I guess I got tired near the end. That's a 110 average or something like that. I got four strikes and twenty-one spares in my first five games, my last game wasn't on the print-out, so I don't know its details. That's a great night for me though. I hit my leg with the ball one time though, ouch! I had lots of fun. I really like hanging out with Chris's friends. I don't know why, I guess that's a girl thing.

Thursday, July 1: Woo hoo! We're in July now. I had school, of course. Then work, yeah yeah. I went to Michael's before bowling to get more paint for my addiction. Then I had bowling. For some reason I always do so well practicing, but never in league. I bowled an 87, 163, and a 110. Now, my 163 game was great. It got me as the high handicap series for the season on the recap sheet and for high-game for the week. That was cool. I averaged a 120, which is still really good for me. I got six strikes and six spares. I think not feeling good messed me up, not to mention I was terrified of hitting my leg again.

Friday, July 2: The bug man was coming that day, so I waited until he left before I went to work. After work, I went to Mel's for a little while and started on my grammie's painting that I randomly decided to do Thursday. After that, I met Mom at Longhorn, my favorite! It was delicious, of course. Later on that night, I went with Mel and some of her friends to see Eclipse again since she wasn't able to see the midnight premiere with me. The one we wanted to see was sold out, so we bought tickets for the one at like ten or something like that. We hung out Books-A-Million until we had to go back to the movies. Wow, Melanee and I sure know how to entertain ourselves. We had so much fun. I don't know how we didn't get kicked out. Even though I wasn't feeling that well still, I had so much fun!

Trying some new eye
make-up and actually
doing something with
my bangs for once.
Saturday, July 3: I hung out with Chris for a while, of course. They showed the house, so I had to clean a lot! I guess that's good, but I hate when they do when I want to rest, which I guess is all the time, ha. I had Sonic for lunch. I don't know if my stuff is in the wrong order or what. But I have that we went bowling, I painted my Grammie's picture, went to Olive Garden, and I bought all of Chris's stuff for our anniversary. So that's what all happened, I'm just not sure in what order. I bowled a 105, 148, and 120. That's a 124 average. I got four strikes and nine spares. A good day, I'd say. Oh wait, I remember something else. We went bowling early because Dad and I were gonna go meet up with his friend Joe, but we ended up having a change of plans, which is why we went to Olive Garden and then went shopping. Whew, I saved the day!

Here's my ugly bruise three days after hitting myself with the darn bowling ball.

Here's Grammie's painting I made her. It's definitely my favorite so far. Each time I make one it becomes my new favorite, ha. Hers is more mature looking I guess.

Well. I got three weeks to catch up on before I get to this week. So hopefully I can do that! Vivi is living with me for a week though, so I'm sure I'll be hanging with her a lot and not doing this. So we'll see.

-peace.

Four, Tres, Two, Uno.

Fergalicious definition...

Okay, we won't get into that. It's my fourth week of catching up, sorry I haven't done it in a while. But I just turned my paper in last week, so I finally got rest and feel like posting again. So this week will be June 20 - June 26. Are you ready? Yeah, me too. [Editor's note: By the way, I'm trying the "Add Caption" option on some of the pictures to see if I like that better. We'll see how it goes.]

Here are three of the ten+
emergency vehicles
outside the mall.
Sunday, June 20: Wow, this was like, over a month ago. I'm ashamed. Well this was Father's Day. Happy Father's Day again Dad, I guess. Well on this day, Chris and I had made plans to go to the mall and go to the movies there to see Toy Story 3 and eat at San Marcos with this Fandango deal that we got. Well, were we in for a treat! The movie was supposed to be at like eleven something, so when we arrived at the mall, we were walking past the skating rink to get to the pod where Carmike Cinemas 8 was, and then a mall cop dude came and said everyone needed to evacuate the building. We thought it was no big deal, but after sitting in the parking lot for fifteen minutes and seeing over ten different emergency vehicles coming in, we figured we should leave. [Editor's note: We later found out that there were two incidences at the mall, coincidental or related, they didn't know yet. They found someone dead in the bathroom, and there was a freon leak from the skating rink, which is dangerous to breath. The mall was closed for several days afterwards.] We were headed home because I had a test anyway and figured I should study. Then, I realized we were on the road the zoo was on! So, we turned around and made a spontaneous trip to the zoo! It was fun- and very, very hot! We had been meaning to do this since June 6, which was a year from the time we went with Bek and Matt. We had a great time, and I bought some little dinky, cheap things in the gift store. We decided to take Dad to Mexico Tipico. Yummy. Then, my allergies or something started acting up that day. I figured it was just from being outside practically all day. Then we headed to my house and both got some studying done, fun. Here are some pictures from the zoo.

How lame is that? Geeze. It reads: Elephants will be accessed to building due to heat.

I had to make this one bigger so you can see my hair. This is what we looked like every time we walked under the amazing misty things. Great invention!

That's a pretty huge snake all wrapped up in the water bowl. I guess he was hot, too.

Pretty jaguar. I'm sad though because they used to have a black one, and I liked him a lot. This one would not pose for a picture at all like the black one would!

Since I couldn't post an elephant picture, here is a giraffe one.

And here's one of my two babies probably watching dumb awesome baseball.

I took this to remember
my hair before my
haircut, in case I didn't like
the new do.
Monday, June 21: I cleaned in the morning, according to my notes. Don't remember that, but I guess that's what I did. Then I had an ortho appointment at like one or something like that. I picked up Melanee and we left for the hour drive to the orthodontist, since it's at school, not here. I had to get impressions done again for more trays, said it'd take four to six weeks to get in the rest of my Invisalign, and I'll be done! Then we went to the ball up there. I bought the jewelry organizer from Claire's that I honestly needed and had been eyeing like the past five times I've been there, at least. I still want another one of them though for my necklaces. I guess I'll do that next time. We got some plain white Ked-like shoes to decorate just for kicks, hehe. No pun intended.  I got some stuff from Wet Seal, we did a picture booth thing, and I know I bought more than I can't remember. It was a successful day of shopping, for sure. I was still sick from my sinuses too, boo. Also, we didn't go bowling this night like usual. I'm not sure why not, but we didn't apparently.

Here's a cute picture of Jessie using my slipper as a pillow since her blanket was up on my bed. How cute is she?! I swear, I can't take enough pictures of her.

Here's me after my haircut.
Tuesday, June 22: I had class, of course. Boring as usual. I was terrified to go though. I just knew the girl that sat next to me (who was in the room during my meltdown) was going to think I was a total loser. I didn't even sit next to her. Then the jerk, being my teacher, even called on me in class! Ugh. Oh well I guess. I survived. Dad and I ate at Texas Roadhouse. I was not impressed, to say the least. I think Dad enjoyed his though, so that's good. After that, I met Mom at my haircut place that I totally drove right past even though Dad told me like three times how to get there. I was nervous, but I think it turned out great! I told her I wanted side-swept bangs though, and she gave me the choppy kind. But I can make them do what I want, so it's okay. I kind of like them the way they are. I pretty much slept the rest of the day away because I wasn't feeling well. Mom and I started to think I had a cold instead of allergies.

Wednesday, June 23: Mom, Chris, and I had lunch together at Ryan's. It was delicious, of course. I was lazy and studied pretty much the whole day. I definitely wasn't feeling better.

Here is Chris's weird fore arm worky outy thing. I couldn't do it worth a crap, even after I loosened it.

Thursday, June 24: My second test in the class. Only two class days after my first one. I knew how to study this time though, plus he basically read the test to us on Tuesday, so that's what I studied. I ignored the rest of the study guide. I felt much more confident about this one. I still kind of BS-ed some of it, but hey, who doesn't do that? Afterwards, I went to work, like usual. After being there for an hour and a half, I found out that my dad had prostate cancer. I was very upset, so I asked Mom if I could leave work early, which I did. I went home and relaxed and talked with Chris until bowling. I was sad, but I had to have my dad's faith and know that God is in control. [Everyone, whoever you are reading this, please pray for my dad. I know the miracles God can do, and I trust Him. Prayer is a powerful thing, and each and every prayer makes a difference. So please, say a prayer.] I can't find my sheet from bowling that week! I am so mad. I have no idea where it is. So I don't know what happened that night. I do know that I was upset and not feeling well, so I probably didn't do that well anyway.

Friday, June 25: I was completely lazy the entire day. The night before I hadn't gotten very much sleep due to having to blow my nose every five minutes and getting cramps in my feet throughout the night. I asked Mom if I could stay home, and I did. I started feeling better later in the afternoon. That night, Melanee, Ben, Zach, Andy, and I went Christian Extreme bowling. It was lots of fun. Also, Mel spent the night afterwards. We made a couple of videos, and talked to her boyfriend, Ben, on iChat (which I found out is WAY better than Skype). We had lots of fun.

Here we all are. This picture is awful. I have no idea what kind of smile I got going on, and since the lights were off, it's dark. This is the best I could do. But it's all I got, so I'll share.

Here's Melanee falling off of my bed from embarrassment since we let Ben watch the videos we had just made. She's so funny. [This is technically from Saturday, since it was like one A.M., a record for Mel!]

My painting, which I
don't really like anymore.
It's alright, I guess.
Saturday, June 26: I got up bright and early to get ready for a family reunion. Woo hoo. It was, of course, incredibly boring. I knew a whopping like seven people out of like a hundred or so. Luckily, the only cousins I'm close to came. I'm really glad they did! I had someone close to my eye to talk to. I also found out that I'm related to Patrick Swayze, that's pretty cool. After that, I saw Chris for a bit before he had work. Then I headed to Mel's for a little while to paint. After that, I went to church with Bek and Zach. I still wasn't feeling well, so I didn't hang afterwards. Dad and I just hung out and watched a movie. I think it was The Proposal. That is a hilarious movie; you gotta check it out! Then I finished my painting for our apartment, finally! I liked it so much though, that I planned to paint Taylor a picture for her birthday, which is June 28. I ended up finishing hers in three hours, finishing a little after midnight. I made her card match it, too, so that's why I included a picture of them both.

Here's Tay's. I just love hers! T's are cuter than C's.

There you have it! Hope you enjoyed. There were lots of pictures this time, so that was nice. I've been trying to take them a lot on my phone. I lost my camera charger. I think it's somewhere in storage. I guess we'll find out August 15th, when I get to move in!

Still Catching Up.

I'll tell you, this is the last time I let myself get so far behind. Mind you, I have been working on a book report, going to class, practice & league bowling, and a few hours of work a week. So as I've said before, free time usually means relaxing. But I'm here now, isn't that all that matters? I'd like to think so. So, this is my third week of catching up. It'll be the weeks of Sunday, June 13 - Saturday, June 19.

Sunday, June 13: This was a boring day at the bowling alley, no offense Chris. I pretty much did homework and Sudoku the entire time. I was sitting so far back that I couldn't see Chris really, and on some days I feel like I'm bad luck and prefer not to watch; so with all that in mind, I just didn't pay attention but every now and then when we came back to say hey to me. It wasn't so bad I guess. I was disappointed though because there was a Mrs. Pac-Man machine that I never played, and it's my favorite arcade game. Oh well. I'll have other opportunities I suppose. I don't remember much else from this day, sorry.

Monday, June 14: All I have written in my notes is "IDK." So, moving on? I think so. [Editor's note: Oh yeah! I forgot about bowling. I bowled a 115, 109, and 81. I don't know what was going on with that. I averaged 101.7, got 1 strike and 7 spares. Eh, it happens.

Tuesday, June 15: My first test in my class. I felt pretty good about it because I had studied a lot. It still wasn't what I expected though. He, being my professor, previously stated that there would be essay and short answer, meaning "two sentences or two words." That being said, I made sure to know two sentences worth of every subject that I figured wouldn't be an essay topic. Well guess what he asks for? A paragraph on the short answers. I was pretty mad, but managed to BS my way through it. I just wrote what I knew and added embellishments. Don't tell me you've never done that. I wasn't the first or the last one done, so I was happy with the time it took me to take it. Then Dad and I ate Chili's for lunch. The chili queso stuff was amazing. I assume the rest of the day was spent with Chris. That's always nice. (To the right is a picture of Chris where it looks like he just has nubs for legs. He didn't realize why I was telling him to stay still until I took the picture.)

Wednesday, June 15: I decided to dress up again on Wednesday. I took a picture in my cute, new outfit and uploaded it to Facebook, and it was a hit! I had so many comments on it, so I decided to share it with you. It was a cute outfit, if I do say so myself. The skirt was one that I bought while in PC with Mom and Bek. Ugh. For some reason I'm having upload problems again. I'll copy all of this when I am done and see if the same thing that worked last time will work this time. Anywho, the reason I was dressing cute was because I was going to eat lunch with Mel, who I hadn't pretty much seen since like May! She was on a mission trip in Belize, and, don't tell her I said this, but I missed her. I mean, when you go with living with someone for, like, nine months, two plus weeks apart is pretty rough, just saying. So, we made plans to eat at one of our favorites, Moe's! It was delicious, of course. And we got a surprise, Kyle and Chris had lunch that day, too, and decided to visit us when they got done eating. So it was the four of us, just like last summer at Mellow Mushroom. It was cool. That night, I went to Calvary. I saw Jacob and Kerry for the first time since last summer practically, so that was cool too. It was just a day of reuniting I guess.

Thursday, June 16: Definitely not a good day for me, at all. First off, on my way to school, I exited at the wrong exit. Why? I have no clue. Thankfully, I leave my house earlier enough so I have room for something bad to happen. But gosh. It got me freaking out at like 930 AM. Not a good feeling. Secondly, I had school. We got our tests back (That was quick, huh? Considering they're ESSAY and all. If you can't tell, I don't think he spent enough time on them, you'll soon find out why.) Keep in mind that I thought I had a chance of an "A" but most likely about an 85. What did I get? A FREAKIN' 78! What the heck?! I basically looked back over it again and again throughout the lecture. I just couldn't believe it. Not to mention this guy has the worst hand writing known to man, and I couldn't read the notes he wrote on it. Once class was over, I went up to ask him what one of the words was that he wrote down on my Napoleon essay that I just knew I dominated it, but somehow got, like, seven points taken off of. This was a mistake. To be honest, I don't think he knew what it was either. He kept saying what it said, and I refuted with "I did write about that [points to it in the essay]." Finally, after asking me questions and such, he decides that it says "Waterloo," referring to the Battle of Waterloo. I again told him that I wrote about that. I had said a lot about it. Apparently I was specific enough when I said the allies, so that costs me seven points? Geeze, that sure is dumb! He kept asking me questions though, and there is no way that he couldn't see in my eyes that I was getting upset. With two other people in the room, he finally asked something that I couldn't think of an answer for, and I burst into tears like a dumb cry baby. Ugh! I can't stand how sensitive I am. It drives me crazy. I told him that I felt put on the spot and I didn't know the answer to his question, and all that I wanted to know was what the word said! He looks back at my grade and says, "It's okay. You made a 78, that's almost a B." ARE YOU KIDDING ME DUDE?! ALMOST A B, ISN'T A B. THAT DOESN'T HELP. I quit making eye contact and just nodded my head, doing all that I could to just get my test back and leave. I left the room hyperventilating. Seriously Courtney, SUCK IT UP! I called my mom and ended up sitting in the parking lot in my car for like fifteen minutes before I felt good enough to drive to work. I didn't have an appetite at that point for lunch, of course, I got one a little later. Ha, I was stressed okay? Don't hate. Work was good to keep me busy, but I still felt awful. I didn't want to bowl that night, just knowing I was going to do badly with the way the day was going. I bowled a 115, 101, 121. Not too bad I guess. Besides the fact that I only got one strike, in my last game! I also got 9 spares, one of them being picking up a 1, 5, 10 split. I was proud, and everyone congratulated me. That was about the best part of my day, besides seeing Chris, of course.

Friday, June 18: I went to work that day. I don't remember much about that (Except for the above picture. This is our "mascot" Max. He enjoys sunbathing.). I went bowling with Kyle, Ethan, and Ethan's friend Chris. It was the first night of Christian extreme bowling. A joke, but fun none the less. The band wasn't that good, but props I guess to them for doing it. I couldn't do that. I bowled a 113, 106, 132, 118, 120, and a, get this, 159! Woo. I got seven strikes and twenty-two spares. Yeah buddy. It was a good night.

Saturday, June 19: I hung out with Chris. (Aren't Chris and Jessie the cutest! [see above]) Ate Sonic. And went to Michaels and then painted with Mel. That's all I have written down. (To the left is us at Michaels, and to the right is Mel's final product for our paintings for our apartment.)

So there you have it. A pretty fun week, minus the tears. I'll write more soon, I hope.
